SAN JUAN

The colonial streets of San Juan felt like stepping into a painting. Pastel buildings, wrought‑iron balconies, and cobblestone streets that echoed the city life of Puerto Rico. I wandered in and out of sunlit courtyards, peered down narrow alleys, and let the vibrant hues of blue, yellow, and pink buildings guide me around every corner.

Then I traded cityscapes for jungle green in El Yunque. Hidden waterfalls with streams leading to lost bathhouses, watch towers and beautiful outlooks just beyond the trees. And the wildlife would get your attention. When heading back down the trails, there were many times I would pause to listen to the tree frogs croaking or see flocks of the Puerto Rican Parrot flying.
