O R E G O N

PACIFIC NORTHWEST

It felt good to get out of the Colorado mountains and hit the North Pacific. There's just something about the smell of the sea mixed with the dense pine forests. My recent journey to Oregon started at Cannon Beach and continued south to the small town of Yachats. Getting out of the city to head out to these smaller towns along the coast to sit down, have some fish and chips, and enjoy the ocean view is the go too. The thing I love about this coastline is the bristlecone pines that line this coast for miles. Their unique formation created from the strong Pacific winds reminds me of the art of Bonsai. This journey has only let me see a pinch of what Oregon has to offer. I hope soon I'll be able to go back and adventure deeper into its forests.
