Greece and its vast standing history had made me capture cinematic-like images. I started in Athens and took a small van around the country stopping at places like Olympia and Meteora. Seeing old monasteries, broken ruins and millions of olive trees made you feel like you were going back in time and living in the development of Greece. Because of me going a year after the pandemic, many stores and restaurants were up and running, but nobody was there. It was weird at times just being the only person. It felt so dystopian wherever I stopped. When I returned to Athens, it was their independence day and they had hundreds of tanks roaring down the city streets. Again, an amazing experience to feel and capture on camera.
